Wildlife Habitat Logo The National Wildlife Federation™ started the Backyard Wildlife Habitat™ program in 1973 to educate people about the benefits, for both people and wildlife, of creating and restoring natural landscapes. Because Autumn Brook has been developed with the goal of creating a beautiful neighborhood, which includes preserving and providing "the four elements animals need to survive - food, water, cover, and places to raise young," we were designated a Wildlife Habitat in 2006.
